Is Hiram Lodge really gone? Did he die in Riverdale season 6?
In an interview with CBR, Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa reveals the fate of Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos). After being shot by Archie (KJ Apa) in the season 5 finale, Hiram's body was never found. So, is he really dead?
According to Aguirre-Sacasa, "Hiram Lodge is not dead. He's not gone. He's still out there." He added that Hiram will be back in season 6, and he will be "more dangerous than ever." So, what does this mean for Veronica (Camila Mendes)?
"Veronica is going to have to face the fact that her father is not who she thought he was," Aguirre-Sacasa said. "She's going to have to come to terms with the fact that he's a dangerous man. And she's going to have to decide what she's going to do about it."
Hiram Lodge is one of the most iconic villains in the Archie Comics universe. He's ruthless, cunning, and always one step ahead. His return to Riverdale is sure to shake things up, and it will be interesting to see how Veronica and the rest of the gang deal with him.
